Homemade Apple Sauce

Everyone loves the sweet, juicy, and fresh taste of apple sauce! But what if you could make your own healthy treat? This tutorial will teach you how to make your very own apple sauce!



Supplies: 
*Sharp knife for cutting
*Macintosh apples (we used 5lbs)  
*Pot to boil
*Ziploc bag
*China Cap



Directions:
1. Cut apples in half, so top and bottom are separated. Then, cut into 4's. Leave the apples with all their seeds, skins, and cores!
2. Put 1 inch of water in bottom of pot
3. Simmer covered pot for 1 to 2 hours or until apples are mushy
4. Put apples into China Cap and mush into a bowl (If apple sauce is too thick, feel free to add water.)
5. Enjoy!
Optional: Add cinnamon, sugar, or anything else you want!
